Launched in 2022, the SOLER Journal Club series provides a forum for discussion of empirical SoTL Research papers and related commentary articles. Sessions are led by SOLER graduate student assistants, CTL colleagues, and other guests; occasionally, the author of the paper joins us as the presenter. Since 2023, the series has featured sessions on a roughly monthly basis. Details for the next session will be provided here.

The Office of the Provost provides funding opportunities for faculty looking to integrate new educational methods and technologies into their classes and learning environments.

This request for proposals seeks innovative projects to design course modules, entire courses, or massive open online courses (MOOCs) and supports teaching initiatives at the department, program, or school level. Proposals from all disciplines and subject areas are welcome. There are seven different grant types with different funding levels. These are described below.

The deadline to submit a proposal is May 4, 2026 by 5:00 P.M.

Wondering about the kinds of projects that are eligible for Office of the Provost's Teaching and Learning Grants? Have a question about the different types of grants this year and which might be the best fit for your idea?
