The Science of Learning Research (SOLER) Initiative is a developing hub for vibrant cross-disciplinary research at Columbia that will make invaluable contributions to advance the scholarship of teaching and learning.
SOLER's emerging partnerships are engaging faculty and researchers from various Columbia schools, departments, and institutes, including:
- Division of Natural Sciences
- Computer Science
- Business School
- Data Science Institute
- Zuckerman Mind Brain & Behavior Institute
- Teachers College
- as well as faculty and researchers from other Columbia departments and schools
SOLER is housed in the Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching, Learning, and Innovation (VPTLI) and the Columbia Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). We are collaborating closely with colleagues from the IRB office, Research Training and Compliance (leveraging resources such as the Research and Data Integrity (ReaDI) program and protocol), and the Office of General Counsel.
SOLER is proudly supported and sponsored by the Office of the Provost, Faculty of Arts & Sciences, Columbia Engineering, and the Data Science Institute.
